Recent Ministry
It was great to be back at Richville Baptist Chapel in Richville, NY for revival in the Fall of 2007. Picuted with me is their new pastor, Tim Frazier.
Here's our Revival Team at Northwood Baptist Church, Nashville, TN. Pastor Barry Smith is pictured on the far left and the Music Minister, Gene Skaggs, is in the center. We had a great time ministering together, and I was honored to be with these guys. They love the Lord Jesus!
Wanda and I were abundantly blessed August 3-4 as a mission team
from Kure Beach FBC came and did two days of major reconstruction
work on our home. Regretfully, I did not get a picture of all six
of them, but every one of them are special to us as they labored
"as unto the Lord."

It was my special joy to be with longtime friend, Dr. David Ard, for a day
of preaching and singing at LifeWay Baptist Church in Little Rock, AR. We
have known each other since seminary days. He and the churches he's pastored have always been great supporters of MEM.
Rev. Kenny Barnes is the pastor of Calvary Baptist Church in Whiteville, NC.
I was there for revival last fall and again this spring. Here is he is exercizing
one of his gifts, picking out "Amazing Grace," while I strummed along. We
had a great time in the revivals. He's back in the pulpit and continues to recover from a recent heart bypass surgery. He and Donna would appreciate your prayers, I'm sure.
Rev. Frank Thigpen is an exceptionally gifted pastor. He invited me to preach revival once again this year at Ebenezer Baptist Church in South Mills, NC. God gave us a good revival meeting.
It was great to be back at Second Baptist Church in Washington, NC for
revival with longtime friend, D. Phil Hayes. They even let me join the
improptu quartet. It was a lot of fun to sing with a group again, brief as
it may be.

We had a good revival and great time at Liberty Baptist Church, Lanexa, VA. My good friend, Tom Doubt, is their Transitional Pastor, and is doing a great job. Since the last time I had seen Tom, he had lost his mustache. But during the revival, in an attendance challenge to the youth, Tom (as well as Youth Minister,Troy Allison) lost their hair. The youth matched their all-time attendance challenge record at Liberty, and were so confident of their success, they had two hair stylists on hand to execute the task immediately following the final revival service. Only heaven knows what they'll have to do top this next time!
We participated in the Sandy Creek Association Crusade in Sanford, NC
in the Spring of 2006. There was good response from more than
30 sponsoring churches, culminating in all kinds of decisions, including
some who came for salvation...Praise the Lord! Four regions met simultaneously as I labored alongside three other full-time evangelists.
It was a joy to see local churches cooperating in ministry!

We had a good revival at Oak Dale Baptist Church in Whiteville, NC. Pictured here is long-time friend and Deacon Chairman, Coy Long, and a few of the praise team members. The group of approximately 20 (which did not exist 2 months ago) sang every service and were such a blessing!
In 2003, I had the privilege to preach the 200th Anniversary Message at Salem Baptist Church in Weeksville, NC. I returned in September 2005 for a revival and had a great time with Pastor Jeff Russell and all God's people at Salem.
