ARC AIR GOUGING
ALL MUREX PRODUCTS CONFORM TO THE RELEVANT LEGISLATION
The Arc Air process groves, gouges and bevels metals by first melting with an electric arc then blowing away the molten metal with a continuous jet of compressed air directed at the point.
Arc Air Gouging electrodes can be used with a suitable power source such as a rectifier or motor generator.
ARC AIR CARBONS These are a mixture of carbon and graphite, coated with copper.
They are available in a range of diameters to suit the current required.
They are designed to run on direct current.

F6 ARC AIR TORCH - 1413036
Supplied with a 2.5m mono cable, which incorporates the welding cable and compressed air line. The torch operates up to 600A, and will take carbons up to 10mm diameter.
F16 ARC AIR TORCH - 1413035
Supplied with a 2.5m mono cable, which incorporates the welding cable and compressed air line. The torch operates up to 1200A, and will take carbons up to 19mm diameter.
SAFETY
It is essential that the operator be adequately protected.
We recommend the following protective equipment.
Welding helmet with light lens e.g. 8EW
Flame retardant clothing e.g. leather gloves, aprons, spats, sleeves, cap etc
Respiratory equipment e.g. disposable filtering face mask or half mask.
Ear defenders
Hard Hat
