PERSONAL PROTECTION WELDING HELMETS AND HANDSCREENS
For arc welding, safety is of paramount importance. Arc welding generates visible light as well as harmful radiation in the infra red and ultra violet, which can damage eyes and skin. To be protected from harmful radiation, the welder will need full protection in the form of a helmet or hand screen, with eye protection provided by shaded filter lenses.
NB: MUREX WELDING HELMETS COME WITHOUT FITTED LENSES - EXCEPT THE EYE-TECH RANGE, ALBATROSS, MULTIVIEW AND COMBINATIONS.
AUTOMATIC HELMETS EYE-TECH 5-13
IMPROVEMENTS The Eye-Tech 5-13 has all the advanatages and reliability of the traditional Eye-Tech with the following improvements.
MOST WELDING APPLICATIONS The new Eye-Tech 5-13 helmet can be used for MIG, TIG and Gas welding applications.
STYLISH The traditional Eye-Tech design in a heat reflective metallic silver finish.
MULTISHADE From shade 5 to 9 and 9 to 13
GRINDING FACILITY By the press of the main button the lens will remain clear for 10 minutes to allow the wearer to cut or grind. A red warning light will flash inside the helmet to warn the wearer that they are in grinding mode.
SENSOR The lens has a sliding sensor bar instead of a removable one.

The Eye-Tech helmets are based on an accomplished ergonomic design and using the skills of modern, advanced electronics. It is comfortable and safe, which increases the possibilities of achieving higher productivity and quality. On the Eye-Tech, the darkness of the eyeshade is continuously adjustable between shades 9 and 13. The Eye-Tech 1012 offers a choice of two darkness values, as does the Eye-Tech 10/11.
