on a bitterly cold
November day in North
Devon, England, this
"gritty" image says it
all, even down to the
look on the
models face.

Facial Sauna. In
this shot the
steamy hot face,
effect was created
by painting the
models face in
'glycerine' so that the
drops would stay on
her skin. The misty
patches were created
by suspending a small
sheet of glass in front
of the camera lens and
smearing 'Vaseline' on
it. The client loved it.
