BIOGRAPHY

Malcolm Love
I am a professional painter living in Brighton and have been painting and exhibiting for a number of years. I have taught art in schools and colleges and in Adult Education since the late 1960s, after receiving a rigorous training for my first degree from the School of Fine Art at Reading University. It was here that I was strongly influenced by the example of the Euston Road School of painting (as exemplified by Professor Claude Rogers, one of the founders) and a tradition in English figurative painting that I endeavour to continue. I have exhibited widely at a number of venues in London and Sussex including The Whitechapel Gallery, Llewellyn Alexander Gallery and Walton Fine Art in London, The Grange, Rottingdean and Art Room No. 9 and other galleries in Eastbourne (see main website for full listing). I am also a Master of Education in Art and Design (from the University of Sussex). Presently I teach individual students and am a Visiting Tutor at Wilmington Art Society in Sussex. A full range of my original paintings and drawings can be seen on my main website: www.malcolmlove.com .
