Born and raised in East Tennessee, beginning to develop his communication skills
and work ethic at the early age of seven.

His first job began at his family’s Drive-In restaurant, taking short orders for 25 cents/Hr. plus tips.
Second job offering career opportunities and technical training with Bearings & Drives at the age of 17.
(This additional income was useful in the support of his wife and newborn baby.)
Job opportunities provided for rapid advancement from delivery to regional Mgr in only 5 years.
Top of class in the majority of the 15 engineering / technical schools he attended over a 12 year period.
He received an Honorarium from the President of Fafnir Bearings for the re-engineering
of a faulty bearing assembly in a helicopter application.
(This letter credits him for saving many lives.)
Innovator of the first drive system and chocolate drum coating machine for a major candy manufacture.
(This and many more of his designs were adopted worldwide.)
With this and many more creative innovations regionally,
he earned a reputation for his skill in design and troubleshooting.
With this talent, he began an engineering consultant business,
