1. What/Who is Giants02122?

Well, all I think I am going to say is that I am a real person. Only select few people know my true I.D.

2. Why did Giants02122 (who ever he is) start this site?

I orginially started the site, as just a simple fan page, and it has evolved into one of the biggest sites around. We are very pleased to have partnered with very good sites, and I have had the honor to work with several great people.

3. What happened to Giants02122 NASCAR Silly Season Site?

A simple name change did the trick for me, and the site is better know as The Crew Chief. The switch accured in late 2002, and has been in effect for almost 4 years.

With little time to correct my spelling, I really don't have time to check my grammar or stuff.

5. How come you don't update like Jayski?

Simple, Jayski works full time on his site, I don't, my schedule is full between my life and this site.

6. Why don't you have thecrewchief.com?

I can't have the domain name, thecrewchief.com because it's owned by somebody already, we will have thecrewchief.net

6a. What is your email address?

My email address is Giants02122@thecrewchief.net. All emails concerning the site should be directed there. If you want my personal email address, then email me at Giants02122@thecrewchief.net address then I'll give you my personal one.

7. What happened to Victory Lane Online, Speedway Media, and Suite101.com?

All three sites, are former sites I have worked for. I still have a high regard to all three, but it was the best thing for me to move on from these sites, and consentrate on my site fully and make this site one rocking site.

8. Is Giants02122's Familly of Web Sites a real company?

No, it isn't a real company, just the name of the web ring that I started in 2001. The site has no company owner. We are not housed at any site expect for Ecomplanet.com.

9. Would Giants02122 sponsor a race car?

No, unless it was a local team in Northeast NJ, and a reasonably cheap sponsorship. With the long url most likely I would have to be a assoisate sponsor on a team.

10. Would Giants02122 sponsor a sim car?

No way, I know that sponsorships for those cars may get out of hand, but you can however, create a sim car for the site, will put it on somehow, email Giants02122@thecrewchief.net.

11. Would you consider sponsoring a ARCA/BGN North or other car?

Yes, but the sponsorship would have to be cheap, and I would love to but, proablly not going to happen. I would sponsor a go kart, because their sponsorships are cheap.

12. Why are you a NASCAR fan?

Well it's kind of simple, I started out when I was about 3 watching Motorcross (favorite Motorcross rider was Jermey McGrath) and Monster Truck racing (loved Bigfoot). Then I was 4 years old and I was fliping through the channels (well my dad was) and we came across the Daytona 500. I picked out my favorite driver (not saying who he is) and I was hooked ever since. I now have my entire family into the sport and even though I am very busy I still find time every Sunday (when I can) to sit down and watch the race. Its not like the NFL, MLB, or any other pro sport, its the best thing going. The thing that makes be a racing fan over football is simple, and theres a story behind it. I was watching a race, before a football game and we were watching the Giants vs. Bears (which the Giants lost) we turned it back and forth between the two. So the person said "turn it back to the football game, if you want to watch cars racing  go out to Route 80 and watch them for about 5 hours" thats a little harsh, but I said, well save your football energy until the real game, not the one that your seeing now. Racing is my kind of sport. I dont think real men make a song up about football.

13. What do you want to say to the President?

Thank you Bush/Cheney'04 team for letting me place your banner's over this site with ease. I wish President Bush, and Vice President Dick Cheney the best of luck for the next four years, and for the republican party that you too can gain national exposure on this site if interested email me at Giants02122@thecrewchief.net.

Race2Win is a NASCAR site, that I have happened to found and thought that it'll be a good idea to link to them. They have lots of PR information, stuff that we don't carry for obvious reasons. But also, they are trying to help out their disabled owner, Jeff, and the NASCAR community is very giving, and I ask you to purchase Race2Win appreal to help his family during this time of their need. We have done similar things with other groups. We helped a DEI fan board once with a child who was dying of lukiemia and I donated some NASCAR Scene articles of Dale Earnhardt Jr. to the child. We also have been supporters of One.org, and other great non profit orginizations as well.

15. What's up with the new Headlines Page?

We made a change on about April 30, 2006 to resemble the site similar to Jayski.com's layout. We have a separate Cup Page, Busch Page, and Truck Page. We did this to ease the reader's load when they first got on the site. We have linked all of our main news right to the main page.

16. Why did you change some of the pages around?

We have decided to get rid of our Advertising Page, and our Race Chase Page. Both pages, were around for a very long time. Both were unsucessful. We don't have any plans of bringinng these pages back.

17. I used to see a guestbook page where did that go?

We have removed our guestbook page due to spammers. Since these people have attacked our page we have decided to go to a message board. You can access it at www.setbb.com/thecrewchief. You can talk about the NASCAR NEXTEL Cup Series, Busch Series and Truck Series, and even ask Giants02122 a question!

18. I see your site has a pr pages... are you affliated with these teams?

Great question; and yes we do get permission to distribute all pr's that our site has. We feel that if we don't get the right we do not distribute full press releases. We will keep these up to date as best we can. We currently have an affliation of some kind to distribute pr's with the following teams or drivers; NEXTEL Cup: Bill Davis Racing; Busch Series: Brad Coleman, Bill Davis Racing, Revelocity Racing; Truck Series: Bill Davis Racing. We will continue to gain more teams as the season progresses thanks!

19. I see your site does alot of charity orginizations why?

I feel that this is a way to give back to those who give us so much. Such orginizations such as One.Org, American Red Cross, Joinred.com, and others have been such a big support group that we established here at thecrewchief.net. We also will be in contact with several groups starting up with the Virginia Tech Shooting victims to see how my site can help. On April 20th, 2007 we ask all of our readers to wear EITHER Maroon or Orange in some way shape or form to support VT!

20. What's up with your ARCA Page?

We don't currently have any plans on making our ARCA page more than what it is today; a simple update when NASCAR drivers make news in ARCA. We would love to split the arca page but we got to be very, very dedicated to the new page if that happens. We are looking to bring in someone else to work on that site with me. We aren't taking open applications from anyone; I personally have done some searching myself.
