Our first Dane was a HUGE fawn female named Sammy over a decade ago.
Since then we have bred Fawn, Brindle, Black, Mantle, Merle, Harlequin, and now Blues ...
At this time we are specializing in the "Steel Blues" only!
This color is 100% A.K.C. SHOWABLE, and is NOT the same as a blue merle!

Update! Ears do NOT have to be cropped to show a dane now.
Cropping is a cosmedic surgery only & cutting of the ear is considered cruel by some ...
It is also now against the law to crop in some states!
Our personal preference is to keep all of our dogs and puppies with Natural ears ...
But we WILL offer show or pet cropping through an experienced vet for our buyers.

Great Danes are truly GENTLE GIANTS by nature ...
They make wonderful playmates for children of ALL ages, as well as other animals!!
They DO know their own size & are GENTLE with small children and animals!
The males should be 30" plus, and the females 28" plus at the shoulders.
Weight will vary depending on height, bone structure, and metabolism.
Danes are considered puppies until 2 yrs old, and should NOT be over weight!

I lost a little bit of my heart here recently when Bell passed shortly after complications of being bitten by a poisonous water snake, after playing in the creek on our property. She just turned 6 yrs!

We had three beautiful litters with Bell, and she is survived here by her daughter "Carbon Copy, AKA CC" who reminds me of her daily!
