I am glad that you decided to click on this page. I think that most people like to find out more information about the company that they either hired or are thinking of hiring to provide entertainment for their big event. So, here we go.
I have always been a music listener and collector. Everybody that spends any time with me will soon figure out that I am a huge music buff. I am married and I work full time in Law Enforcement and have for over 24 years. In my spare time I like to go boating, camping, riding my motorcycle, listening to tunes of course, going to NASCAR races and watching live bands (seen alot of good bands). I DJ only part time, but when you hire me, I give it full time attention.
Being a DJ isn't just being able to play a few songs and hoping that you get through the event without having to think too hard about it. Being a DJ is being able to play the right songs at the right times, being able to play a song on the fly and send your guests home with a smile on their faces. I pride myself on being able to play a combination of the right songs, being able to slow the music down at the right times, and that is something that comes with experience.
I have had over 15 years of experience performing all over the Siouxland area. I started with just a home stereo system playing music for a friends party and things started from there. I added more and more equipment and I am constantly adding new equipment. The technology is constantly changing and in order to provide you with the best around, we must replace old stuff with newer state of the art equipment. Since I have only 1 system, I concentrate on providing you with the best looking and the cleanest look around. Rest assured, when you hire us you don't have equipment that is 10 years old, or 1 of 12 systems that a competetor has that is "just enough to get by", you have the best around.
One of my pet peaves is some other DJ services in the area boast that they have 4, 5 or even 10 systems out on the road on any particular weekend....SOOOOO. This does not mean they are good, it just means that have 4, 5, or even 10 systems out on the road on any particular weekend. In my experience with observing multiple system DJ's (not all) is that they LIMITED lighting, a sound system that is mediocre, and a DJ that is just there to collect his/her $50 for the night. They go into a bidding war with the smaller companies just to take the business from them. REMEMBER, you get what you pay for. Ok, I am done with that. : )
I have added Latino genre music and providing entertainment for your Quinceanera and other Latino celebrations. I can provide a Spanish speaking DJ to provide entertaiment for our large Latino population in the Siouxland area, something that is a rarity in our business.
I have grown to appreciate what the crowd is wanting and that it takes to make that happen. I have experienced staff that will provide your crowd with the fun that they have come to expect.
