TOPKAT
This is Ed.
Eddie Wayne Insel Plays Rythem Guitar, Bass guitar, and sings Vocals. His speciality is singing Rock and Roll, but also sings some of the Country Songs that the group does. He also likes to cut up and interact with the audience. (as well as dance with the ladies while singing when ever he can find anyone who will get up and dance with him). There are usually several Ladies around willing to accomodate him. The main one being his wife Nancy.

Ed Has this to say:
Hi everybody my name is Ed or Topkat as Dennis has coined me. He didn't know it but that was one of my favorite cartoons when I was young (kinda shows my age ha! ha!) I sing and play rhythm guitar for the Alleykats. I have messed around with the guitar since I was young, but never really got serious.
A few years ago I met Tom in the church choir and all that changed. He asked me to join the reformed Hardrive, and from there things just took off. When Hardrive was over, we formed Bad Habit and from there have wound up in the Alleykats. Bob and Chuck have played together in the past ,and they lay down an awesome groove. John and Chris came over from Bad Habit, and with Jeff tweaking the sound, the future is limitless! I can honestly say this is the most fun I've had playing music in years. All of these guys are not only talented musicians, but great guys to be around. In the real world I work in auto restoration, and live in Muenster with my best friend and wife Nancy. Between us we have three children, Jonathan, Nicole, and Jared (who is learning to play bass guitar.)
I would like to personally invite each and everyone of you to come to an Alleykat show. I promise you won't be disappointed. So as Bobkat says "Let's get the party started!!"
Ed Plays an Epiphone Les Paul Guitar amplified with a Fender Hot Rod Devillle amp. When he is not playing and singing with the band he says his interest are Music, Traveling and anything fun.
His Favorite Country Artist is Jack Ingram. I guess you will have to listen to the band to figure out who his favorite Rock Artist are. He says (like most of us) there are too many favorites to mention.
Philosophy: Yesterday is History, Tomorrow's a Mystery, Today is a Gift. That's Why They Call it the Present.
