The first photo is a normal pair of Pacific Lucida Parrotlets. They are my original pair of Parrotlets.

The second photo is a pair of Pacific Parrotlets, also. The female is a blue and the male is a green double split yellow/blue . They give me very stunning babies, blues, & greens/split to blue and possible yellow .

What started out as a life long hobby of raising exotic pet birds 30 years ago, has now evolved into a small scale aviary on the mouth of Shelbyville Lake in Central Illinois.

Our priority is to provide high quality parrots to the personal pet owner as well as local breeders. We specialize in some Australian species such as the Bourke’ Parakeets/mutations, Cockatiels/mutations, some of the South and Central American species like the Pacific Parrotlets/mutations (nickname pocket parrot), Green Cheek Conures/mutations (nickname apartment conures), some African species like the Congo African Grey, Red Belly Poicephalus and also some of the Asiatic species like the Indian Ringneck Parakeets/mutations. Other species of birds are sometimes available but on a limited basis due to trading with a few select breeders I know in Illinois and surrounding states. 

Our goal is to raise these parrots in a very clean aviary with natural spectrum lighting and excellent ventilation. We run a state of the art air purification unit, made by EcoQuest, 24 x 7. It provides an all around environmentally friendly aviary conducive for healthy birds, breeding and raising young birds. We hand feed all our babies in a specialized nursery with experienced and caring hands. Our babies are well socialized and played with and talked to on a daily basis.
