What Did I Think Of The Episodes. Season six is almost at its end in the UK, so i thought now would be a good time to review how the season has gone this year!! I think alot of fans would agree with me that this season hasn't been an all time great!It hasn't been terrible but i think we all had high hopes for where the season was going. With the let down over Buffy's return I think that put a downer on how i viewed the rest of the seaon. Although my hopes rose when i saw the episode called "After Life" with the emotional speech between Buffy and SPike i started to look forward to the rest of the season. The musical episode "Once More With Feeling" was legendary. One of the best episodes ever. After that the development of Buffy and Spike's relationship made the season take a rather unbelievable turn. I thought the Buffy and Spike situation should never had happened because it just seemed so unlikely. I think many people would disagree!!! The Willow & Tara relationship was excellently done untill Tara's sad and untimely death, and the Xander-Anya situation was done excellent even though the episodes didnt really mach up to the hype!!! I think not including a big bad in this season was a mistake because the episodes seemed to have no meaning!!The trio-Andrew, Johnathan and Warren tried to take the place but it doesn't really work.Also why didn't Buffy and the gang do their normal things like patrolling and working in the Magic Box?? This again made the season seem like it had no meaning and wasn't like any of the other past five seasons. Maybe that's what Joss wanted.Giles' decision to leave changed at lot of things and i think the fans miss him on the show. The season hasn't totally been a disappontment. I enjoyed many of the episodes. Especially the one named "Older And Far Away" was good with emotinal, funny and entertaining pieces all the way throughout the episode. The one where Riley returned ("As You Were") was extremly good also.I was really hoping that he would stay because he is a character i really enjoy. I will rate the whole season at the end. So far I would give it a 7 out of 10.
