One of the most popular girls at school, 16 year old Buffy Summers a student at Hemery High School in Los Angeles found that she had been chosen to help with the war between good and evil.
The Watchers council sent a man named Merrick to help her and act as her watcher, but as tradegy loomed, he was killed. After burning down her High School gymnasium during a battle, Buffy was expelled.
Over the time she was training her parents Hank and Joyce Summers divorced and Buffy moved with her mother to Sunnydale California hoping to have left her responsibilities behind her.
But new challenges awaited her as Sunnydale was located on a hellmouth,"a center of mystical convergence".
Her new Watcher was also in Sunnydale. Rupert Giles.He was there to continue the task of training and preparing the slayer for battles.Along with Giles and her closest friends Willow Rosenberg and Xander Harris Buffy resumed her role as the slayer and continued her battle against the evils of Sunnydale.
After a short while in Sunnydale Buffy met a mysterious man named Angel. Later she found out that he was a vampire. A very unique vampire in the way that he had a curse of a human soul. He is now seeking redemption for all the horrors he committed when he was his alter-ego Angelus.
Buffy continued fighting the forces of evil on a nightly basis with help from her friends. The Master, the vampire king, knew of a prophecy foretelling the slayer's death. Begrugingly she faced him knowing that she might not survive. After a fight the Master sunk his teeth into Buffy and took some of her blood, enough to break free and left her to drown in a small pool of water.Buffy died.But Xander and Angel found her and thanks to CPR Xander revived Buffy and she went and kicked some Master-ass therefore ending his reign and going on to dance on his grave...
Over the summer Buffy spent it with her father in L.A. returning just in time to rescue her friends from one of their many vamp attacks. Buffy found herself doing her duties still every night. Her enemies ranging from a 100000-year-old mummy to fish men.
While trying to keep her secret from her mother Angels’ old pals Spike and Drusilla threatened her chances of doing so but help was at hand because when Buffy dies last season this activated the next slayer Kendra and she joined forces to kick the vamp’s asses. But in a fight with Drusilla Kendra was killed.
Her relationship with Angel blossomed fighting side by side for a while, and they finally gave into passion on Buffy’s 17th birthday and setting in motion part of Angel’s curse. This part was that if Angel achieved one moment of true happiness he would lose his soul!
This happened and Angelus was back! And intent on bringing down the thing that made him feel most human.Buffy. He joined Spike and Drusilla and over a long time played games with Buffy stalking her in her shadows and leaving her chilling notes.
Jenny Calendar hoped to re-curse Angelus but he found out of this plan and brutally killed her before she got the chance and it looked like Angel was gone forever.
Angelus, Spike and Drusilla brought forward a demon named Acathla. A demon that had the power to swallow our dimension whole in one breath. Buffy had no choice but to face Angelus with the intent of killing him.
Buffy did not know though that Willow, who had been reading about Jenny’s pagan hobbies, was trying to curse Angelus again while in hospital.
Buffy fought Angelus hoping to stop him awakening Acathla but she was too late and he came forth. Buffy and Angelus fought more and as Buffy was about to finish him off Willow succeeded and Angel was back and him and Buffy enjoyed one last kiss.
Buffy had no choice and had to kill him to close Acathla down for good. Upset and expelled from school Buffy left Sunnydale and her friends and family behind her…
With Buffy gone but the undead problem not, Xander, Willow, Oz and Giles are still trying to get the undead population of Sunnydale down and keep it down.Buffy is living totally isolated and is in Hell.She keeps having vivid dreams of Angel and is having memory flash backs of his final demise.After helping someone where she was Buffy realised that she needed to be at home.She returns to her mother who welcomed her back with open arms. She found her friends and the peace was made but Buffy senses all is not right because she was getting funny attitude from her friends.Zombies attacked Buffy's house during her welcome home party and after she saved everyones life, yet again, everything seemed to be back to some sense of normality.Buffy saw the return of two familliar male faces.One was the person she loved and one was the one she loathed.Angel returned from hell.And Spike returned from South America after Dru had dumped him.After alittle moping Spike left but Angel didn't.Buffy realised they coudn't be together.
With Buffy's death activating Kendra but now Kendra is dead the question was still who will take Kendra's place? this question was answered.Faith.She came to Sunnydale fleeing her nemisis Kakistos. He had killed Faith's watcher and she had watched him do this. She barely got away but did and came to seak out the other slayer.After bonding with the group she found her place with the scoobies.Even though a little hostile at first Buffy became good friends with her.The scoobies especially Willow didnt like this.Faith would take Buffy stealing and doing things she just wouldn't normally do.
All this time the Mayor of Sunnydale and his vampire henchman Mr.trick was trying to get ready for the Mayor's ascention.this is a ritual that would transform the Mayor into a pure demon.He would then decimate the town.
On a routine patrol Faith accidentally staked the deputy Mayor.After buffy confronted her Faith admitted she didnt care and she had totally no remorse and she even tried to kill Xander.The watcher's council attempted to escort the slayer back to England.But failed and Faith was now rogue.Faith felt isolated from the gang and with Mr.Trick out of the way she assumed the role of the Mayors right hand man.Or woman.Faiths treachery would soon come common knowledege.After Angel played her the found out that the asencion is going to happen on graduation day.
Faith had a revenge filled plan for Angel and she poisened him with a poision that can only be cured by the blood of a slayer. Buffy planned for Faith's but after fighting and stabbing Faith she escaped and was placed in a coma.Buffy let Angel feed off of her and he was cured but not after putting Buffy in the hospital. Graduation day came and Buffy and the gang were prepared because all the school was on board with them.When the mayor became pure demon Buffy used his human weakness against him.Faith.In the end the mayor was blown to pieces along with the high school...
