The Babyverse is based around Baby who is a Mary Sue *peeps faint, mass thud* .. the other characters are taken from Joss Whedon's excellent television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and corresponding show Angel.
No way does it have anything to do with the actors, Imeantersay, James Marsters is soooooo not gay! He'd be horrified I'm sure. Not that he suffers from homophobia, God forbid, but he said he refused a role once, because the character was gay and so we're all reassured on that point aren't we? Don't protest too much though James, 'cos we might get a tad worried. Lmao!
The Babyverse is very NC17, this means strictly NO NIBLETS ALLOWED...right, so clear off, or I'm telling your mum! Or even your mom!!
It's a bit on the violent side as well, some of it really squicks me out, but let's face it..they're VAMPIRES. Naughty, nasty, creatures of the night and stuff; they're up to no good and having orgies and biting and sucking and .... *Ditto goes off to wipe brow*
If you carry on reading, it will be presumed that you're over the correct age to be reading this filth er..fiction, as laid down by the law in your State, Country, whatever. Personally, I think all peeps should be able to read whatever they like, but that's my opinion and I think it's film that is the medium to watch out for. All that graphic violence in the films is to be deplored...and like PokerKitten says..you are limited by your imagination when you are reading, not like when watching a film. I remember seeing Soldier Blue when I was young and beautiful..OMG, I had nightmares for weeks.
Yeah, so anyhoo, it all belongs to Joss Whedon and it's all his fault. One man has changed my life so much! I bought a pc, met all these lovely peeps, started reading fanfics by the thousand, was persuaded by PokerKitten to start writing fanfiction..met Ebony Silvers and the other beautiful Babyverse Krewe members and the rest is Babyverse History. I love Joss, but not as much as I love James Marsters. I digress..this is an AU, alternative universe, so it's way not canon and you are advised to adjust your imaginations accordingly. Thank you.
Plus, if you don't like Mary Sue's, well, you don't know what you're missing. Give it a whirl, you might be pleasantly surprised as I was.
Search for other information on Mary Sue's, it's a very interesting genre....
