Is it scriptural to to try to renew the beauty of our youth, or is it vain? Let's see what the scriptures say,

"Let the king appoint commissioners in every province of his realm to bring all these beautiful girls into the harem at the citadel of Susa. Let them be placed under the care of Hegai, the king's eunuch, who is in charge of the women; and let beauty treatments be given to them". Esther 2:3.

"The girl pleased him and won his favor. Immediately he provided her with her beauty treatments and special food". Esther 2:9.

"Before a girl's turn came to go in to King Xerxes, she had to complete twelve months of beauty treatments prescribed for the women, six months with oil of myrrh and six with perfumes and cosmetics". Esther 2:12.

"The king is enthralled by your beauty; honor him, for he is your Lord". Psalm 45:11.

"Don't you know that you yourselves are God's temple and that God's Spirit lives in you"? 1 Corinthians 3:16

Psalms 139:13-16: "For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well".

Yes indeed, God made us perfect, in His image, and He expects us to take care of what He so wondrously made. God created David a very handsome man, as He did Solomon and many other men and women in the bible, and He prescribed beauty treatments so we can maintain the soft supple skin has He so graciously given. He is enthralled by your beauty, the beauty He molded you like clay with very His own hands.

Certainly He is not talking about plastic surgery, that in which can cause severe damage and distort the beautiful creation He so carefully designed. His desire is for us to keep His entire temple in the way it was intended to be.

Unfortunately, the elements in the earth today are stealing away what God has created, and we are not taking care of His temple, the one in which He dwells. We are not eating right, sleeping right, or taking care of our body, thus crevises and wrinkles bore deep within our skin, then at a ripe age we give up, when we should Keep on keeping on.
