Welcome to Jarmak Pony Stud!

Growing up in England it was always a dream of mine to have a stud farm but never thought I would ever live my dream especially in Australia. But I have been very lucky in coming to Australia meeting my soul mate Anthony having children and living my dream. The name Jarmak comes from the first 3 letters of our childrens names Jarrod & Makayla ~ Jarmak.    

We now have a small stud farm that is situated on 53 acres in Taree NSW we moved up from Sydney in 2002,  we started our stud farm in 2003 and so far are enjoying it very much we have had some very nice foals by our first stallion Welsh A Stallion Osory Coronation ( Jock ). We have now decided we would like to change direction and breed bigger ponies so we bought a bigger stallion black Welsh D Grenwood Cicero 14.2hh to continue on with out new breeding programme and Jock has since been sold. Our aim is to breed a small number of quality Welsh Ponies that are quite and suitable for all,  starting from Section A and going up to D's so as the kids grow so will the ponies We will only bred a max number of 3 or 4 foals so we can have the time to spend with each foal.

Another dream of mine was to own great danes and we have been very lucky to be able to have purchased our 2 wonderful great danes Tessa our Fawn girl (2 and half yo) and Camando our fawn Merle boy (1yo). Our dogs enjoy life on the farm and get to run free, swim and have plenty of fun, they are free to be on the farm and also have a large yard when need be. They have grown up with our 2 children and are great with cats, free range chooks, horses ~ foals and cows ~ calves, we have a litter of pups that will be for sale they were born on the 27th of August 2008 there are 10,  6 girls and 4 boys colours are black, fawn merle and grey merle, for more info contact Katie on khallworth@bigpond.com.au. They will be ready for their new homes from the 25th of October 2008 at 8 and half weeks they will be vet checked, miccrochipped and vaccinated.

A photo over half of the big dam back to our house, stable, yards and sheds.The dam is fresh water and that is a pelican on the dam they enjoy the fish and we can get up to 14 on the dam when the weather is dry.
