Men, Let's Talk (Pornography; the quiet addiction)
VICTORY OVER THE SPIRITS OF LUST
Read these scriptures and confession at least twice a day for
maintenance or as many times as you have to if under
constant attack along with praying in the spirit.
(Psalm 51)
"Have mercy upon me, O God
according to Your lovingkindness;
according to the multitude of Your tender mercies.
Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from any iniquity,
and clense me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions,
and my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned.
And done this evil in Your sight --
That You may be found just when You speak,
and blameless when You judge.
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
and in sin my brother conceived me.
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts.
And in the hidden part You will
make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me hear joy and gladness,
that the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins,
and blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God.
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
and uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways.
And sinners shall be converted to You.
Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth
shall show Your praise.
For You do not desire sacrifice,
or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
a broken and a contrite heart --
These, O God, You will not despise.
Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;
Build the walls of Jerusalem.
Then You shall be pleased with
the sacrifices of righteousness,
with burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
then they shall offer bulls on Your altar."
A CONFESSION OF VICTORY OVER THE SPIRITS OF LUST
Father, in the name of Jesus, I come before you willingly, and ask for
deliverance from the spirits of lust that have been haunting me. As
Your word says, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthen me.”
Lord, I lift up all my struggles and challenges in dealing with the sprits
of lust this day, which I have been entertaining for much too long. I
give them all to you knowing, at the same time, that they shall no longer
have control over me, in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, I claim my victory over every spirit of lust that
comes my way and put them all under my feet this day. In the name
of Jesus, I bind every spirit of lust, fornication, pornography,
masturbation and every other spirit of lust named or unnamed and loose
all you demonic spirits from your assignment of any further attacks on
me, my family, loved ones, prayer partners, anyone in my prayer circle
and anyone I come in contact with through fellowship.
The spirits of lust no longer have control over me from this day forward,
in the name of Jesus. I cast every lustful thought out of my head
immediately, in the name of Jesus, and I commit to You, dear Lord, to
living my life for you, realizing; (1) that my body is a temple which will
be respected as much as I respect you, (2) that my desire to sin willfully
is keeping me from my divine destiny, (3) that my sexual addiction to
lustful sins is keeping from the wife you have for me, and (4) that I will
never reach your divine destiny by continuing to choose sin over You.
Help me, Lord! Forgive me, Lord! Cleanse me, Lord!
Lord, I ask you now to take and break any and every spiritual sexual
bond that I have with every one I have had sex with to date, in the
name of Jesus. I ask you, Lord, in the name of Jesus, to take and
break the demonic sexual bonds that I have with the spirits of lust,
pornography and masturbation, and every other spirit of lust, named
or unnamed.
Lord, I commit to You right now to do whatever it takes on my part
that will help deliver me from the spirits of lust, knowing that when I
do my part, I allow You to come into my spirit and set me free. I claim
my victory right now, in the name of Jesus, so that I may become the
powerful man of God that You wish me to be.
All these things I ask, in Jesus, I pray. Amen!!
