A New Direction Ministry is a deliverance ministry

support group for all who "have been delivered from"

and/or "are currently struggling with" sexual

addictions including sex addiciton, pornography

addiction and masturbation addiction. 

As with any addiction,  once you are delivered and

victorious over the addiction, you must now implement

a spiritual maintenance plan to keep the addiction

under control.

This ministry is about trust, honesty and truth with a

sincere desire to share with you how God can deliver

you from bondage of sex addictions once you place the

addiction in His hands and allow Him to heal you. 

But it all starts with "you."

You must openly admit to yourself that you are

addicted and need help.  You must contact at

least one person who has control or who has

been delivered in this area and tell them you

need help in dealing with this addiction.

Just the fact that you admit to yourself and to 

your support partner that you need help, weakens

the addiction and the dark spiritual forces

that hold you in bondage.

Our ministry is hear to be that contact person

who will pray with you, share with you

scriptures which will strengthen and empower

you on your way to victory over the addiction.

After 30 years of struggling with sexual

addictions, the Lord pulled me out  and, praise

God, delivered me.    After my deliverance, he

made it more than clear to me that I was to go

and minister to those who are still hopelessly lost

in sexual addictions and haven't a clue or the

strength to find a way out.

is my testimony of how my addiction to pornography

started, grew and controlled me until my search

to know the Lord lead me out.

Believe me, it's all about calling out and talking to

somone about this addiction in your life.   The longer

you remain silent, the stronger the addiction gets as

it strengthens feelings of guilt, shame and unworthiness

in the sight of God in your life.  That's exactly where

the devil wants you.

You see, you're not just dealing with addiction to 

pornography, but also addictions to sex and/or

masturbation.    The three work together in the realm

of spiritual warfare to keep you as far away from

God as possible.    As long as they can keep you feeling

unworthy or unfit to do God's will, they are accomplishing

their goal.

But I'm here to tell you, after being addicted for 30  years,

that through the Word of God, there is a way out.  I am

living proof.   Even after my victory, the devil had me too

guilty to admit that I ever had the addiction or the victory,

which thereby for years meant that I couldn't help others

get free.

Then after a few trips to the belly of the whale through  a

few seasons of severe financial drought, I prayed to the

Lord, "What am I doing wrong?"     The Lord's answer

was loud and clear.  He said, "I didn't deliver you just so

that you can sit around and quietly celebrate your

deliverance but so that you can go forth and share with

others how they too can be free and show them how.   You

are to be a beacon of light to help those lost in the

darkness of addictions to pornography, sex and

masturbation."

Up until this revelation from God I never truly

understood what my divine purpose was in this life.  

But since this revelation, whenever I am not actively

moving forward in some aspect in this ministry, blessings

in my personal life come to an abrupt halt, immediately

letting me know that I've drifted off course.

I am now currently producing a local talk show on this

subject scheduled to begin to air over the next month

and weaken it's grip by revealing it for what it is, a

demonic weapon seeking to destroy your life and everyone

around you.

IT ANY LONGER!   THERE IS A WAY OUT THROUGH

THE WORD OF GOD!!   

Let's get started by knowing exactly what the word says

about lust of the flesh.  

HERE ARE JUST A FEW SCRIPTURES ABOUT LUST;

(Matt.5:28) "But I say to you that whoever looks at a

woman to lust for her has alreadhy committed adultery

with her in his heart."

(James 1:14-15) "But each one is tempted when he is

drawn away by his own desires and enticed.  Then, when

desire has conceived, it give birth to sin; and sin, when

it is full grown, brings for death.

(Galatians 5:17)  "I say then; Walk in the Spirit,

and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. 

For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit

against the flesh; and these are contrary to the things

that you wish. 

I cannot stress enough the importance of seeking

to live your life by the Word.  It is focusing on

that goal that empowers you.  If you are not

living your life by the Word, then you must

seek to find something in your life that is positive

on which you can hold on to.

If you are living by the Word, meditate on the

following scriptures daily until you know them

like the back of your hand.  That will allow the

Word take root in your spirit and give you

strength to be victorious.  Eventually, each time

the addiction strikes, the scriptures will ring so

loud in your head that what you're doing is

wrong, that your temptation to sin will decrease

more and more until you have complete

control over it.

(Gal.6:8) "For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh

of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows of the

Spirit will the Spirit reap everlasting life."

(1 John 3:8) "He who sins is of the devil for the devil

has sinned from the beginning.

(Heb. 10:25) "For if we sin willfully after we have

recieved the knowledge of the truth, there not longer

remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful

edectation of judgement and fiery indignation.

(1 Thess.4:5)“For this is the will of God, your

sanctification what you should abstain from

sexual immorality; that each of you should know

how to possess his own vessel in sanctification

and honor, not in passion of lust, like the

Gentiles who do not know God.”

(Matt.5:28)“But I say to you that whoever

(1 Peter 2:9) "Beloved, I beg you as sojourners

and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts which

war against the soul."

(Heb. 13:4) "Marriage is honorable among all,

and the dead undefiled, bu fornicators and

adulterers God will judge."

(James 1:12) "Blessed is the man who endures

temptiaton , for who he has been approved,

he will receive the corwn of life which the

Lord has promised to those who love Him."

(1 Thess.4:5) "For this is the will of God,

your sanctification that you should abstain

from sexual immorality; that each of you

should know how to possess his own vessel

in sanctification and honor, not in passion

of lust, like the Gentiles who do not know God."

(1 Cor.6:19)“Or do you not know that your body

is the temple of the Hol.y Spirit who is in you,

whom you have from God, and you are not of your

own?”

(James 4:7-8)“Therefore, submit to God.  Resist

the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near

to God and He will draw near to you…”

(1 John 1:8)“If we say that we have no sin, we

deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and

just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse

us from all unrighteousness.”

(Gal.5:17)Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not

fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh

lusts against the Spirit and the Spirit against

the flesh; and these are contrary to one another,

so that you do not do the things that you wish.”

(1 John 2:16-17)“For all that is in the

world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of

the eyes, and the pride of life – is not

of the Father but is of the world.  And

the world is passing away, and the lust

of it; but he who does the will of God

abides forever.”

(Eph.5:3-5)“But fornication and all

uncleanness or covetousness, let it not

even be named among you, as is fitting

for saints; neither filthiness, nor

foolish talking, nor coarse jesting,

which are not fitting, but rather giving

thanks. For this you know, that no fornication

unclean person, nor covetous man, who is

an idolater, has any inheritance in the

Kingdom of Christ and God.”

YES, YOU CAN BE VICTORIOUS!  BELIEVE IT!                    

(Phil 4:13)“I can do all things through Christ

who strengthens me.”

(Phil. 4:19)“My God shall supply all my need

according to His riches in glory by Christ

Jesus.”

(Eph.3:20)“And now to you, O Lord, who is able

to do exceedingly and abundantly above all we

can ask or think according to the power

that works in me.”

(1 Thess.5:16-18)“…Rejoice always, pray

without ceasing in everything give thanks,

for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus

for you.”

(1 Peter 5:8)“Be sober, be vigilant; because

your adversary the devil walks about like a

roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” 

Now, immediately click on the link called "Victory

Confession" and speak that confession of victory

out loud, at least three times a day or each and 

every time the spirts of lust are pulling at you to

 perform an addicted sexual act.  Say that confession

and your favorite empowering scripture(s) as many

times as it takes until that feeling of lust desire leaves

your presence.

LET US PRAY!   Father, bless my friend reading this

right now who has been struggling with the spirits of

pornography sex and masturbation for much too long. 

You said in Your word where two or three are gathered

in Your name, there You are also.   I lift up my friend

reading this right now.   In the name of Jesus, together

we say speaking the following words out loud,

"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!  No longer shall these sexual

addictions have control over my life!  No longer shall

these sexual addictions keep me from my divine destiny! 

No longer shall my choice to sin block the blessings You

have in store for me!   Lord, forgive me!    Come into my

life and take away all that is not of Your will.   Strengthen

me now, in the name of Jesus.  Cleanse me now, in the

name of Jesus.   I believe that You died on the cross and

was raised from the dead for me and my sins.    I commit

to you now that I will do everything in my power to live

my life for you, knowing that with Your help, it shall come

to pass, in the name of Jesus.   All these things I ask, in

Jesus' mighty name, amen."

Now go forth and begin to live your life the way God

want you to live it, in peace and harmony body, mind

and spirit.

The victory is yours!

(Col. 2:5-10) "Therefore put to death your members

which are on the earth: fornication, uncleanness,

passion, evil, desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. 

Because of these things the wrath of God is coming

upon the sons of disobedience, in which you yourselves

once walked when you lived with them.      But now you

yourselves are to put off all these: anger, wrath, malice,

blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth.  Do not

lie to one another, since you have put off the old man

with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is

renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him

who created him."

(Phil. 4:8-9) "Finally, brethren, whatever things are

true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are

just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are

lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is

any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy --

meditate on these things.  The things which you

learned and received and heard and saw in me,

these do, and the God of peace will be with you."

A DAY I'LL NEVER FORGET!

I will never forget that Sunday, the day my husband revealed to our Overcomers Sunday School Fellowship that he had been delivered from an addiction.   Just the word addiction made the room fall silent. I heard several people draw in a breath, because everyone assumes that addiction means some kind of drug.    And, of all people, for the beloved worship service horn player and gospel aerobics teacher to have a drug problem?   Oh, no!   But, there he stood, in obedience to God, tears streaming down his face, surrounded in a supportive circle by every male in the class, as he haltingly blurted out his history of addiction to pornography!   I was stunned.   I had no idea this was coming.   Moments earlier he had been squirming in his seat, mumbling to me that the Lord was telling him to go forward and say something he really didn't want to.   I urged him to obey the Lord, until he finally walked forward and was the last person to give a testimony.   It was as if the Lord had kept testimonies going, waiting for my husband to come forward, before our teacher moved on to our lesson.   I didn't want people to know this about me,he said, as I smiled at him through tears of my own and resisted my urge to leave my seat and run to his side.   Because of that, I have put off writing a book about it that the Lord has been telling me to write for four years.

So many lives were touched that morning, and a huge breakthrough took place in my husband's walk with the Lord.   Talking about being used in a mighty way!   I was never more proud of him than I was on that day and never more humbled as a wife.  Many females classmates encouraged him, begged him to finish the book.   Women really want to understand.   Many of the men thanked him for having the courage to bring this silent addiction out into the open in the body of Christ.   What safer place should there be to do it?

For every man who has ever wrestled with addiction to porn, thinks he doesn't have a problem, or wants to break free, this book is honest and no holes barred.   For all of you ladies, whether you are married or in a relationship with a man who buys PLAYBOY "for the articles", keeps a stash of videos, wants you to perform what you consider strange things in bed, please read this book.  This is book to be read AND shared.   Someone you know or know of is looking for answers or needs deliverance.

If you are a person dealing with deliverance from these addictions

or support group is mandatory.   With or without the word of God, you

cannot beat these addictions alone.  

After writing my book and workbook regarding my deliverance, I spoke

to several specialist in this field, who stated that my deliverance was

indeed miraculous and by no means the "norm" (without help).  

I consider it no less than a miracle that the Lord led me out of this

addiction personally inspite of (1) my ignorance in recognizing the

addiction for what it is and (2) my stubbornness in refusing to call

anyone and ask for help in this area due to shame, guilt and

embarrassment.   It is for those two reasons alone that I feel my

addiction lasted for 30 years.  Remaining silent only makes the

addiction stronger over its victims who may then be caught in a

cycle of relapses and not understanding why.
