In '96 the first conference with a real emphasis on the Arts was held in the Redding California region. "FREEDOM" was the call. During the conference a reconciliation happen spontaneously between the Artist and the Church. This was a powerful time of forgiveness and healing! Many were touched by the power of God and the tears flowed. A new song was sung about a seed growing into a beautiful flower and then a whole field of colorful flowers. All the flowers faced toward the Light, blooming in the Glory of the Lord. My family returned home to our mountain town 1 1/2 hours away. Our youngest son Timothy was not feeling well. By Sunday he was very sick with a flu. We allowed him to rest and recover all day. But, this was not a "normal" flu. He died. My husband found him with no vitals. He began to pray. Sunday evening we called our Pastor in Redding. Their home happened to be a place of hospitality and many young christians were there. They began to pray. We all prayed through the night.
We believed this death was NOT to the glory of God, Timothy was five years old. He is the sixth of our children. God told us before he was born to have another baby, one last baby and we would have a son from God.
We continued in prayer. Late into the night, Timothy was raised from the dead. The first thing he could see when he opened his eyes was the "Icon of the Resurrection". He said, "MOMMIE, WHAT IS THAT A PICTURE OF ..."
