"Create a Renaissance" ~ RENEWAL
2009!
Can we be bold enough to believe God for a renewal, a "renaissance" in many nations throughout the earth?
These are the nations I am in prayer for in this new year:
Israel ~ America ~ Iraq ~ Norway ~ France ~ Mexico/Baja California
Korea ~ Japan ~ Canada ~ England ~ Scotland ~ Ireland
Let us pray until we see changes. Pray and then go.
Blessings to all!

Spring 2009 ~ This new time of rain, life and refreshment, there is hope in the air. Yes, times are difficult, the day requires us to pray. In prayer, there is new life, new refreshment and a cry for more rain. Rain not in just the physical, also in the spirit. Many across America look at California for some unknown reason in my mind. Are we weird or is it because we are on the West. "Go West young man...." Because of this element, I determine to pray with this in my heart and cry for mercy, true love and hope to see the day through.
Last month I began to pray for 5 feet of new snow in a day when the drought was prevailing in California. The Govenor had already declared California in a disasterous drought. Water rations were already on the demand, but let's put a demand on the mercy of Jesus.
Wow, it began to snow. Every week my husband and I go up to Mt. Shasta for an outreach. We see Lake Shasta and the far north. It was very thirsty. We began to cry out for God to open the treasure of the North in the form of snow and rain. Then when it did begin, we got a gift of faith to cry out for more......God is good! My heart is so refreshed. In the time of rain pray for more....and more. Hope is never turned away for those who sincerely want hope.

"Job 38:22 Have you entered the storehouses of the snow, Or have you seen the storehouses of the hail, Which I have reserved in the time of distress, For the day of war and battle?"
(September 2007 Past newsletters highlights.....) In prayer, I searched my creative insight to find an appropriate work of art to "paint" on the walls of a Heavenly Hall. During this time I saw a vision of the LORD Jesus. The vision was wonderful, a snapshot of the moment Jesus was raised from the dead, exiting the tomb! His triumphant entry into the new life of the resurrection is a powerful picture of our Lord's love. Many quote Jesus' last words on the cross with the statement "...it is finished..." but, the rest of this quote could read: " ...it is beginning..."
The vision for the Heavenly Mural discribed in the May newsletter below was quite a stretch for me as an artist. Just to imagine God, Creator of the Universe, asking me to paint a part of Heaven is amazing! Now that I have an idea of what I would paint , it is more of a reality.
So, just maybe faith works this way. Faith is a great quality. In I Corinthians 13 there are three most important qualities listed: faith, hope, and love, and the greatest of these is love. Love will continue in Heaven. Faith in Heaven will be changed into the seen, Hope will be realized or fulfilled in Heaven, but LOVE will continue. Therefore, I would love to paint the LORD at the beginning of His victory over death and hell. The moment of the power of His resurrection! The second on earth that He stepped into His glorified body to "begin" His new life as the risen Son of God.
Now, that is a wonderful picture. And walking through the Halls of our Heavenly Home I want to be reminded of the time on Earth when this second occured!

During a time of prayer (May 2006) the Lord showed me some of His handiwork. There is a concept that Jesus, being a carpenter, is now preparing a place for us in Heaven. The work of the Creator is magnificent! Jesus is a perfect Designer, Sculptor, Architech, Engineer, Jeweler, and on and on. But, to see a part of Heaven was truely amazing.
The part of Heaven I was allowed to view was a long curved hall way. I was not aware of where it went or where it came from, only that this was a Hall Way in the Heavenly Home the Lord is preparing for us all. The work was perfect in every respect. The walls were marble, white with creamy golden waves throughout. There was about five feet of a pure white blank space at eye level. The remaining wall was beautiful marble above and below the white space there were also relief pillars spaced at each end of the white space. The Hall was complete in itself, wonderfully created. My heart told me this was good.
Then to my surprise the Lord with a twinkle in His eye smiled and said, "This is your space to paint, 'Painter of Heaven!' " (Many times have I refered to myself with this title in a sincere and affectionate way) This blew my mind! What? Paint Heaven.....
Now that gave me something to think about!
Blessings,
