But each kind of horse needed a Good Disposition, Surefootedness, and a Low Center of Gravity. The last quality was manifested by a Greater Weight per Hand than other saddle breeds. It also gave the Quarter Horse its Unique Conformation quote from King Ranch Quarter Horses.
