Recent speculation over the
bin Laden Video invites the Big preface WHY?
Many reports including the
Guardian from the UK infer that the tape was probably the result of a form of
Sting contrived by the CIA. It was done to conclusively damn and condemn him and
galvanize the civilized world against him in perpetuity.
The various spins evoke the
suggestions of Sting to outright Fake.

The Observer ) considers the
tape a form of sting.
The British have no
particular love for Osama but or course enjoy the freedom of press and
speculation.
The Guardians' article does
evoke a great deal of plausibility.
Possibly a considerable
amount of truth in the article but the bottom line is..."So What!"
It is well established what
bin Laden represents.
Would a sting, as the
Guardian article suggests, have been necessary?
I have read Osama's letter
to the front and found that his plan was nearly carried out to total
perfection.
It is the flawed portion
that stands as the worrisome element.
It remains as the what's
next in our daily lives. What Bin Laden
wrote or said in the past stood unchallenged as unmitigated truth!
So why, the furor now?
Why must we run these
calculated risks to better a position or render a justification for our actions
that have caused horrific carnage!
This has been and is war.
The object of war in the paraphrased
words of General Patton, is "to get the other poor dumb bastard to die for
his country"
We have had outstanding and
undeniable success in this area.
I praise and thank God for
that!
I also give thanks to our
brave warriors who vindicate our way of life.
A special note of tribute to our brave men and women of the armed services who defend our honor, our freedom, our America.
Of course, no tributes would
be complete without a salute of respect to the
Commander, President George
Bush, and the
Grand "Rummy Show.”
It takes guts to do the big business of war and guts we got!
The men and women of eloquent
words will look back using the old rear view mirror concept and laboriously
meticulously detail for us the errors of our ways.
That is always so easy, but
to be a visionary, and a man of the hour, to act with character and to
persevere, is quite another story.
Trying to be politically
correct has its certain pitfalls and drawbacks in a free society.
The most difficult of all
diplomacy, is putting a spin on wartime actions and drama.
One that so called allies
can effectively use to protect their own political wellness with a constituency
that is less than receptive to many aspects of the US foreign policy in the
mid-east.
Keep in mind that the
article in the UK's Guardian is just another example of free thinkers
expressing plausible opinion and speculation. That is all.
Since the President did not
release the tape immediately gives rise to the total authenticity of the
document for what it is. The why of it, presents a salient
question. Without doubt there was considerable debate on the cause and effect.
Not so much with America, but rather with our limited fair-weather allies of
the moment.
The comment that it was not
up to previous standards is an understatement, Or perhaps better expressed as
an overstatement. Much of bin Ladens military Empire is no longer up to
previous standards!
Even in a land as miserable
and backwards as Afghanistan, there are degrees of misery that can be
considered as graded criteria. The progressive degradation of the
technical quality and production niceties of his scratchy grainy TV
performances, stand as witness, to his lot in life.
He is up that “crick” without a pot to wash his socks in!
With the beginning of the
speculating sideliners we may well be setting the stage for another missing Elvis
scenario.
This would be especially so,
in the absence, of identifiable remains. I am sure therefore, that some cave
will render up his badly burned and decomposed remains.
Bank on this. Even with DNA
testing, the needed c l o s u r e will be elusive.
There will always be
continued speculation as to the merits of the disclosure or the authenticity of
the reports.
Of course if he is a fresh
kill or surrenders this will all be subjective.
The worst possible scenario
would be a disclosure that he is receiving care and sanctuary in Kuwait.
What an incomprehensible
problem this would present. But in the matters of the Mid-east where things are
never static, certain events render incredible scenarios and surprises.
For your consideration,
Russia is now the King Pin crude oil supplier to the U.S.
Even in the matters of
harems and scare-ums cash is king.
It is interesting that Adolph
Hitler the KING SIZED BASTARD of Germany, died in a bunker with
his girl friend.
I surmise that a Marine will
tell you that Bin Laden died in a cave, with a goat!
Aside from the incredulity's
formulated by mass hatred of a single individual we must keep in mind that
Osama bin Laden did not act alone in the total planning.
Certainly we can establish a
rather well founded assumption that others, well educated others, contributed
and to the formulation of the master conspiracy.
Doubtless there was a team
of planners that researched all data in regard to the fragility of the WTC.
They were well skilled in
the effects and damage from intense heat caused by compressed fuel. Certainly the speed and impact was
important in the calculations in order to produce the desired incendiary
effect, which melted the unprotected master beams of the structure.
With this thought in mind we
must remember that the terror networks are in fact inter-linking.
So while we concentrate our
deserved hatred on a single individual, still others can be preparing for the
second act!
Vigilance must not be
replaced with fickle assumptions.

action.
