Modern Witch's Healing Spell
To help speed recovery from an illness, write the sick person's name on a white human shaped candle of the correct gender. As you anoint it with 3 drops of myrrh or mint oil, visualize healing energy in the form of white light flowing from your hands and into the candle. Recite:
IN THE DIVINE NAME OF THE GODDESS WHO BREATHES LIFE INTO US ALL, I CONSECRATE AND CHARGE THIS CANDLE AS A MAGICKAL TOOL FOR HEALING
Place the candle on top of a photograph of the sick person and then light the wick. As the candle burns down, focus on the person in the photography, willing him/her to be well again. Then recite:
MAGICK MEND AND CANDLE BURN
SICKNESS END, GOOD HEALTH RETURN
Continue to focus and recite until the candle burns out on it's own. (At this point I suggest taking the remains of the candle, wrapping it in clean white cotton and burying it outside, thereby burying the sickness.)
SPELL TO FIND YOUR SPIRIT GUIDE
Items Needed
Altar Candle Day Candle (Monday-white, Tuesday-red, Wednesday-purple, Thursday-blue, Friday-green, Saturday-black, Sunday-yellow) Offeratory Candles

Preparation Breathe deeply and build a ball of protective light around you. While soaking in your ritual bath, meditate on the whole ritual: the steps you will take and what you wish to say to your spirit guide when you make contact. Ritual Light the incense. With the oil, dress the Altar Candle and the Day candle while concetrating on the purpose of the ritual.
Light your Altar Candle and Day Candle and state your intent: I am here to make contact with my Spirit Guide, and to acknowledge him or her. With your athame, inscribe Violet Candle #1 with the word "Spirit". Dress it with oil. Light the Violet Candle
#1, direct your energies into it and say: Here do I light the first Lamp of Spirit.
May its light reach out across the barriers from this world to the next. May it make contact with that World of Spirit into which we will eventually enter. Take your censer or incense wand and swing it around, censing the whole area around the altar while rythmically repeating the word "Merge" and building up energy to focus. Replace the censer and pick up Violet Candle
#2. Inscribe it with the word "Spirit" and dress it with oil.
Put it back on the altar, light it and say: Here do I light the second Lamp of Spirit. May its light also reach out across the barriers from this world to the next. May it make contact with that World of Spirit and help spread the light, illuminating the passageway between our worlds. Again take the censer or incense wand and cense the entire area around while chanting the word "Merge." Build up your energy to focus.
Take Violet Candle
#3, inscribe it with the word "Spirit", dress it with oil, charge with your energy, light it and say: Here do I light the third Lamp of Spirit. May the light from these three lamps blend and grow, dispelling all darkness and lighting the way that my Spirit Guide may come to me and speak with me here today. Inscribe the three white candles with the word "Truth" and anoint each candle with oil.
Light the three candles in the order of 1, 2, 3, and say: Here do I build Truth. As these candles burn throughout this ritual, their power generating nothing but truth in all that transpires between this world and the next. Through these candles there is truth in all communications that come to me. Again cense the altar area while chanting "Merge." Replace the censer and continue chanting.
Sit comfortably while chanting, and gaze into the crystal ball, or the clear glass of water. Continue chanting until you feel it is right to let the chant taper off. Continue to quietly look into the crystal ball or glass, not trying to picture anything. Keep your mind blank, so whatever comes will appear and will come in it's own free will. Gaze into the center of the crystal, there is no need to try not to blink. Look into the crystal and blink naturally. Try not to notice anything in your peripheral vision, just the center of the crystal.
Eventually a face or figure will appear. This may take a long time, or it may appear almost immediately. If it doesn't come at all within approximately 20 minutes, abandon this attempt, extinguish the candles in the order in which they were lit, leave the altar set up, and try this ritual again in three days. You should have results within a month at most. When a figure does appear, ask if he/she is your Spirit Guide. You will hear an answer, you may not hear it out loud, or even see the figures lips move, but you will be aware of the answer.
This is how most conversations will proceed. You will ask your questinons mentally (or out loud) and the answer will be clear inside your mind. Ask if you have more than one Spirit Guide. If yes, ask them to appear also.
You may ask anything you wish to know, but it is better to establish a connection first where your Spirit Guide may appear to you at any time, or at specific times, so that you can converse with any other spirits through him/her. When you have finished speaking with your guide, thank him/her, then sit for a moment with your eyes closed, meditating on all that you have learned. Extinguish the candles in reverse order to clear the circle.

This being a time of transformation means it's also an excellent time to change aspects of ourselves as well. To aid you in your transformation, try making a special charm. You will need:
1 small cloth or knit pouch;
Symbols of transformation (egg shells, cocoons, etc.);
1 strand of your hair.
Place the pouch on your altar with candles lit and say something like this:
Gathered together, these things transformed
Lend me your power so I too am reformed
Into the person I know I can be
Bring me forth, a new reality
Then leave the pouch on the altar until the candles have burnt down. Carry the pouch with you until your objective has been acheived.

Spell to Strengthen the Witch Within
This is a time of the rebirth of the root cultures of many peoples. Ancient wisdom’s that were lost or obscured by the power shifts of history are now coming into light through many channels. Native people are discovering their rituals, their myths, their shamans. The advances of technology are adding to this wave of discovery in many ways, such as through media and communication (take the Internet for instance). The image of the witch is at the root of our cultural past. To embrace and affirm this aspect of ourselves is to tap the power of tradition, longevity, and cellular memory. Once we understand ourselves, harmony sets in. In preparing for your spell, first do some serious thinking about just what the image of the witch means to you. Make a list of all her qualities, her powers, her names, how she looks, what she wears, thinks, feels, etc. See her in your mind’s eye with as much clarity and detail as possible. This spell should be cast three times, at the new, full, and dark of the month.
Ingredients:
Large piece of parchment paper
Pen
Two purple candles
Moon Oil (Recipe)
Power incense
A small moonstone
Arrange your altar. Carve moons into your candles and anoint them with oil. Anoint yourself as well, on brow, heart, and hands. Seat yourself comfortably and light the candles, saying:
“With this flame, I awaken the Witch within me.”
Light the incense. Close your eyes and breathe deeply for a while, relax, and let go. Bathe yourself and your aura in white light. Keep breathing deeply and slowly as you begin to sway and weave, letting your body move into a circular motion. Empty yourself of all distractions and anxieties. When you feel flowing and peaceful, let your imagination fill up with images of your inner Witch. Take up the parchment and pen and make a sketch of her (don’t worry about style or quality; the simpler the better). Write your impressions and ideas beneath the drawing. Set this up between the candles so that it is facing you. Take the moonstone and clasp it to your heart. Keep breathing and weaving as you fill yourself with the image on the parchment. Draw the Witch image into yourself, see her multiplied a thousand-fold, vibrating in every cell of your body. Repeat the following incantation three times:

As you repeat this chant, let your words flow rhythmically as you weave and sway, let your voice create melody. Improvise, make new words if you feel inspired. When you feel complete, slip your parchment beneath the altar cloth. Give thanks to the Goddess and God and snuff out the candles.The moonstone is to carry at all times. Keep it in your pocket, under your pillow, or wear it in a pouch. Whenever you feel the need, hold the stone and rub it with your thumb in a circular motion. Think or say:
“I am safe
I am me
All is well
Blessed be”
Tell no one of this spell until it has come to fullness. Even as you feel your powers strengthen, it may be best to maintain silence. Be discreet about sharing your magick.

This is a spell that has been translated from irish/celtic language...it's origins are not none for certain..the spell is as follows:

Spell to Find out if someone is Magical.
You need to be able to see the person for it to work. If you are a beginner you may not want to try this spell, it can cause evil spirits to come, but this is one of the few spells that can be used by level threes so be thankful for that. You must only think about that one person and NOTHING else! Then you must imagine energy coming from them to you, if they stop right in there tracks or start to move slower it's worked so far. Now if you feel like something is shoving you back, they are magic.

Now I've always had a knack for reading people, but this always helps me the morning after when in comes to reading minds. I suggest that this spell be used by someone who already has already evolved their telepathy.
Do this spell before going to bed. A quick relaxing meditation before helps. While burning a white candle, and a purple candle, side by side, chant this three times, and
envision your mind opening up. Then blow out the candles, and go to bed.

Repeat the spell at least once in the morning, while envisioning your mind opening up.

Binding Someone Annoying Spell
Take a piece of paper and write the name of the person that is to be bound on a "3x3" piece of paper, using a black ink pen or a pencil.
While you do this visualize the face of the person on your mind. When you have written the name cross it with an inverted pentacle (5 pointed star within a circle).
Fold the paper twice and take a rubber band and tie the paper with it. Raise it to your temple and chant three times the following...
"To be protected from you,
This magic charm i will do,
With this words i bind thee,
For you to let me be,

Binding Spell 2
Do on a waning moon.
On a sheet of paper, write the name of the person who you wish to bind. Also write down some negative behaviors that you would like to change positive. Roll the paper
and wrap with black ribbon, set paper on fire, and place in a fireproof bowl. Chant this until completely burned:
"As this paper chars and burns, all these behaviors soon will turn."
Dump the ash in the water. Visualize it glow with power of peace. Concentrate on your intent. Take the water and ash to a north tree at your home, and pour water & ash

Getting Answers in a Dream
You want an answer to an important matter? You do not know how to act in any given situation? All you will need is :
yellow piece of paper,
fresh or dried rose petals (any color),
fresh or dried Calendula flowers (Any color),
poppy box.
Take a dry box of poppy and purge it from seeds. Write your answer on a yellow piece of paper, and then put in the box. Boil the roses. Before bedtime, put fresh or dried Calendula flowers (Any color) under the pillow, the poppy box on the bed, and drink the boiled rose soup. Please think about your problems, think about options. The answer comes in a dream.
Spell to Revive Magickal Powers
On the night of a Full or Waxing moon, anoint a purple candle with vanilla oil. While anointing, raise energy and focus it into the candle. See it glow with magick! Light the candle and go outside or open a window where you can see the Moon. Place the candle on the ground or windowsill. Reach your arms out to the moon and say:
“Oh Dear Goddess of love and light
I ask for your power on this night.
By the powers of the stars above me,
So shall it be.“
Visualize your arms and hands soaking up the powers of the moon, and into your body Put out the candle and leave it on your altar overnight. The next morning, repeat the spell to the sun, with this chant:
“Oh Dear Lord of the sky and sea,

Soak up the powers of the Sun. Go to your altar, light the purple candle from the night before, and meditate on it until it burns out.
Magic Spell to get someone to call you
Take a piece of parchment or fine quality writing paper and inscribe the name of the target. Write it in a circle twice, so the ends meet. As you do this, concentrate on the person's face and your desire that they call you. Then, while still concentrating, put a needle through the center of the circle created by the name. Place the charm by the phone.
The call will come within 5 minutes, 5 hours, or 5 day, depending on how well the spell was cast and how much will
power was used.
TO BANISH AN EVIL SPIRIT
Take five black candles and place them at the five points of the pentagram. As you light each of them imagine that the flame is creating a wall of protection on that side of you. Sit at the center of the pentagram. Concentrate on your wish to banish the evil spirit.
Chant13 times:

Snuff out the candles starting from the upper right point of the pentagram (Water), so that the last one to snuff out is the one that symbolizes the Spirit.

Witches' Love Bottle
1 small stone (malachite or rose quartz)
1 bottle (pink glass if possible) with tight fitting cap/cork
1 handful fresh or dried rose petals, lavender, tulip and jasmine
1 handful fresh or dried mint, rosemary, thyme and basil
1/8 cup honey
1/2 cup of alcohol (Vodka, Gin or Rum)
water, enough to fill the remaining space in the bottle
pink wax from altar candles
Add the flowers and herbs to the bottle. While adding them, concentrate on love and all the wonderful feelings being in love and being loved brings. Hold the stone in your hand and concentrate on the love you want this bottle to bring you, then drop it into the bottle with the flowers and herbs.
Mix the alcohol and honey then pour it into the bottle. Then, fill the bottle with water and seal it carefully with pink wax from an altar candle. While sealing the bottle say the following:
Love in all it's glory be
From highest mountain and lowest sea
Bring that pleasure from love is known
Through flower, herb, glass and stone
With sprits pure and honey sweet

Place the bottle where it won't be disturbed. If you feel love's power waning, give the bottle a shake and repeat the chant.

1 Glass bottle with tight fitting cap or cork
1 Fishing hook

Place all the objects into the bottle and cork/cap it. Seal the cork/cap with wax from altar candles. Say the following:
Prosperity in bills and coin
Rain down on me so we may join

Bury the bottle near the front door of your home or set the bottle somewhere it can't be disturbed if you can't bury it.

Dragon Protection
This spell will create energy of protection through your aura – giving your protection from bad luck, and bad energies.
This is best done after you have cast your Magick circle, in your sacred space around your altar.
You will need one white or purple candle to represent yourself and one black candle for the earth dragon.
Cast your magick circle. Stir the dragon of the element of the north (Earth). Light the earth dragon candle and chant these words:
"Earth dragon strong and true,
Send to me your magick new.
Egg of protection we shall see,
This is my will so mote it be."
As you chant, envision energy moving from the dragon candle to the one that represents you. See the energy around your candle as green light in the shape of an egg.
When you feel this has been accomplished, light your candle from the dragon candle. See your magick happening and know you are protected. Snuff out your candle and put it in a safe place. Any time you need additional protection, light this magickally charged candle. Remember to snuff it out (don’t blow it out) and put it in a safe place.
Make a Piggy Bank Seed
This extremely simple spell is so easy it is almost funny. Don’t let that fool you though, it works very well to bring wealth into your life. My Grandmother had me do it as a child (it worked so well, I still have the same dollar bill in a piggy bank almost 30 years later).
This spell also works best in the evening, and in the protection of a Magick circle – at your altar.
You will need:
A piggy bank
A dollar bill, play money, or a piece of paper
Clove oil
Green or gold thread
Dab the four corners of the money, play money, or paper with clove oil. Fold the bill three times.
Wrapping towards you, wind the thread around the dollar bill. Tie it with three knots. Place this seed dollar in the piggy bank. The anointed dollar will act as seed money and will draw more money to it (and into your life).
A Simple Love Candle Spell
You would normally prepare your altar, internal sacred space, and cast your Magick circle. But if you just want to practice, and aren’t sure how to cast a circle yet, this spell is safe enough to do without a circle.
This spell is simple, yet very powerful in bringing love into your life. Follow the suggestions I gave before on focus, meditation, and belief. Think about all the things I have shown you up to this point. When you’re heart is ready, begin. (This spell works best at night, at your altar)
What You Will Need:
You will need a pink candle, a selection of love herbs (roses, rosemary, orrisroot, heartsease, and vervain) and essential oils that draw love and relationships, and a rose quartz crystal.
Step #1:
Hollow out a hole in the bottom of the candle, about an inch deep. Save the shavings of wax. Grind the oils and herbs together with your mortar and pestle (or spoon and bowl).
Step #2:
While you do this, charge the herbs by chanting the following:
“True love, come unto me,
Over mountain, land, and sea.
Into these herbs of passion’s Fire,
Send to me my hearts desire.”
Step #3:
Load the magickally charged herbs into the hole in the candle. Melt the wax shavings and seal the hole. Inscribe your magickal intent on the candle with the crystal and anoint the crystal in blessing oil.
Step #4:
Light the candle and send out the energy. Make sure you burn the candle in a deep candle cup because when the flame reaches the herbs they usually ignite and send the energy out quickly.

The Ring of Strength
What you need:
Red, blue, orange, purple, black, yellow and silver string (appropriate for making a braclet).
Candles the colors of the strings (or 7 white candles)
Tape
Scissors
What you do:
Say the following once, before you start the making the ring of strength, once when you're half done making the ring of strength, and once when you are finished with the ring of strength:
I bring survival, protection and courage with each red, blue and black knot
And with each orange, purple and silver I've tied, it was just justice, female power and self assurance that I got.
Will yellow, quick intelligence is with me - secure my knots - these things held together tightly...
By my will
So mote it be!
To make the ring of strength:
Take a piece of each color - all at equal length. Make the length very long, for you'll need a lot of string.
Draw the strings together at one end and knot them, making them into one. Find something (something you can put tape on) - a table or...something (unless you can think of a better way) and tape the knot down securely.
Now take the first string, starting at the left and tie it once with the second string. Take the second string and tie it to the third string. Take the third string and tie it to the fourth string and so on until you've tied the second from the last string to the very last string.
Now take the last string and tie it to the second from the last string (and so on like you just did, only going backwards).
Keep doing this, going back and forth, until you have a long, knotted braclet that will tie securely around your wrist. This may take a while and is a lot of hard work, but believe me it's well worth it.
When you're done knotting, tie your new braclet/ring of strength around your left wrist and simply wear it all the time.
It will give you strength. When the bracelet feels it has given all it's worth...it will simply fall off one day. If you don't feel you have enough strength....you might need to make another.
Wish Spell
Take three short reeds of dried lemongrass and braid them together.
Sketch your name, or a beloved symbol on the braided lemongrass.
Don't worry if it doesn't show up clearly!
Isolate your hopes clearly in your mind and drop the braid into smudge mix or burn it to ash on its own.
Take three deep breaths while focusing on your goal. As you inhale, think about what good you will do for others.
As you exhale, think about those who have given freely to you. Bury the remaining ash in the earth near your home.
Every time you walk past that place, think about your wishes and what you will do to make them come to life.
Spell for Cleansing the body of Negative Energy
The following tools will be needed:
1 White Candle – this is representative of positive energy
1 Black Candle – this is representative of negative energy

Clear your mind and light the white candle. Say the following incantation:
“Mother Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Spirit,
I ask thee to cleanse my body of all negative energies”

Sit back, and keep your mind clear for fifteen minutes. After this you should feel renewed and fresh.
Three Red Leaves Spell
This spell is used to protect the mind against things such as nightmares, negative thoughts and “invasions of evil”. First you must gather three red leaves from any tree, plant or bush. Lay them in a triangle on a flat surface. In the centre of the leaves, place an already lighted candle, and place a few drops of chrysanthemum oil on each leaf.
Say this incantation three times:
“Red leaves, gift from earth,
Birth to death and death to birth,
Keep all evil far away,
Day to night and night to day.”
Then extinguish the candle, and wrap the leaves in a white cloth or pouch. Place this near your bed within three feet of your head and it will stop all nightmares and negative thoughts.

On your altar, or coffee table if you don’t have one, place one red candle and one white candle. Make sure you have a cauldron, or other fireproof container to which you’ve added some sand. (It helps absorb the heat)
On a piece of parchment, or fine writing paper, write down the qualities of the person that you’d like to have come into your life. The colour of ink doesn’t matter, although you could use red or pink if you have it. (Keeps with the theme if coloured ink is used)
When you’re finished writing, concentrate on the words and try to envision how this person makes you feel, the things you’d like to do together, and allow yourself to feel happy. You should feel happy, you’re creating something wonderful to look forward to!
When you’re ready, light the piece of paper from both candles and say something like:
I ask that the Gods/Universe send to me this person I desire,
I may not yet know their face or name,
Still I know they’re out there,
And they’re looking for me just the same.
Money Spells
Write down the amount that you need in green ink. Now, either draw a green box around it, or as I did, start tracing little swirls with the pen…like when you’re doodling. Keep moving the pen in little circles around and around the amount…it will become hypnotic after awhile. This is a good thing.
While drawing, chant something like:
Money for this bill I need,
Nothing more I have no greed.
Keep chanting and doodling until you feel like you’ve established some sort of connection, this is usually when you’ve put yourself in a sort of trance. It’s all good, don’t be afraid if you feel your body “humming”. When you’re ready, take the paper and light it from the candle, drop it into the container and wait till it stops.
Then take the ashes outside and cast them into the air saying:
This is my will So Mote it Be!
Within a week you should have results, if not, repeat once a week until results happen.
Protection Spell
Use a black candle for this, and some sea salt. First of all, if you can that is, sprinkle of fine line of salt on every window sill and door frame of your house…from the outside. If this is a bit too difficult, you can do it inside, just don’t forget why the salt is there and sweep it up by accident. Salt purifies, which is good for repelling negative forces.
While sprinkling, say something like:
Sacred Salt protect this house,
Keep it safe from thug and louse’
Protect all those who dwell inside,
Negative forces have no place to hide.
Yeah I know it sounds a bit hokey, and for those who aren’t sure of what a “louse” is, imagine that pain in the butt neighbour who keeps annoying you.
When you’re finished sprinkling, come back inside, light the black candle and sprinkle a circle of salt around it and say something like:
Sacred Candle, Sacred Flame
Protect this household in your name.
Keep chanting this again until you feel like you’ve made a “connection”. When you’re finished, snuff out the candle and say:
This is my will, so mote it be!
It’s important to mention here that one should never blow out a candle. Either use a snuffer, moist fingertips, or allow it go burn out. Blowing out a candle scatters the Fire and Air energies that you’ve worked so hard to focus together. It sort of instantly undoes all the work you’ve just done.
Quit Smoking Spell
Also works for Drinking and Drugs
On the night of a full moon (preferably) or during the Waning Moon, make a quit-smoking gemstone candle. Empower three or more small pieces of amethyst and three or more large pieces of amethyst with the power to remove your addiction to cigarettes.
Now make a black candle (this can be done easily by melting those cute little black six-inch household candles over low heat, and then pouring the melted wax into a glass container (which you have prepared with metal tab and wick).
Now add the three or more small pieces of amethyst to the melted wax in the glass container. You may also wish to add an appropriate oil, such as Patchouli, to the melted wax, to give it added power. Allow the candle to cool. You may wish to reserve a small amount of wax to "top off" the candle in case it caves in while cooling. Once the candle is ready, you may begin the spell.
Place the candle on your altar and ring it with the three large pieces of amethyst. Light the candle and gaze into its flame. Visualize yourself being free from the addiction to cigarettes. Visualize your cravings dissipating. Visualize the toxins in your body being removed.
Hold this visualization for as long as possible.
Now allow the candle to burn down completely.
You may wish to repeat this spell for added strength. You may make more candles, or simply use a black candle, ringed with amethyst stones.
When the Waxing Moon period begins, this spell may be reinforced by empowering your amethyst stones with the power to keep you free from cigarettes and using them to circle a white candle.
You may also wish to carry one of your amethyst stones with you to strengthen your magical intention. When a craving starts, simply take the stone out of your pocket and rub it until the craving stops. Remember that magic tends to build upon itself...it grows stronger with repetition... don't be discouraged if you have to repeat this spell several times...it CAN and WILL work…
Spell to Increase Psychic Visions
Burn some dried mugwort as a magickal incense while scrying. Brewed as a tea with lemon balm, mugwort can be consumed to aid divination, meditation, and all forms of psychic development. It can also be used to consecrate objects used in scrying.
Knot Healing Spell
This involves tying and untying the string.
1) Tie seven knots in a string
2) Visualize the illness and suffering as you tied the initial knots (you are not wishing the illness - in fact the opposite. You are transferring the illness into the knot)
3) Make it into a bracelet for the patient
4) Untie one knot each day - visualizing the relief as the knots are untied, as the illnesses negative energy is allowed to dissipate into the atmosphere.
5) On the last day, unravel the thread and throw everything into running live water, flowing away from the patient's location.
Remember LIKE attracts LIKE.
