Sex and Sexuality
Many people use the words "sex" and "sexuality" interchangeably. In fact, though they are related, they are also separate things. When we say "sex" we usually mean either gender or sexual intercourse. The broader term "sexuality" refers to how we function, feel, and interact with ourselves and with other people. It may or may not involve actual sexual activity.
