Covering Priest
Michael B. Artis was born in Beaumont, TX. and spent his formative years in Oberlin, Louisiana, Houston and Beaumont, Texas. He is the oldest of his 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is the loving husband of Rev. L.A. Artis and the loving, patient and doting father (Daddy) of her three children "Little Mike", "Princess Grace" & "Master Mathias". He is a strong, kind, friendly, quiet man of prayer, wisdom and discernment. His love, prayers, encouragement and unwavering support of this ministry and its minister has blessed the lives of countless souls. He has traveled to rescue youth in peril. He visits the sick and shut-in with his wife in their hour of need. He loves to wash the dishes and mop the floors for the senior saints. He is a master craftsman and carpenter of excellence. His artistry is lovingly displayed around the pulpit and altar of Union Gospel Tabernacle, UHCA. It is the creation of which he is most proud and honored to have been chosen to do.

He is most comfortable and most at home working behind the scenes to help in the work of soul-winning. His love for souls is reflected in all of the wonderful and kind things he does behind the scenes that only heaven and his wife know. As his wife often tells him, "The human heart works behind the scenes, but if it ever stops, everything stops." Michael Artis is the heart of this ministry because he has this minister and this ministry at heart. His love for his wife, security in who God has called him to be and the deep love he has for God and the work of God has allowed her to flow freely in the gifts of the spirit, travel freely around the country and soon abroad to preach and prophesy to congregations, conferences, conventions, conclaves & convocations of all denominations and in all regions.
Rev. Artis is free to be a blessing to the people of God because of this man of God.
Michael, you are more than just the wind beneath my wings,
YOU ARE MY WINGS!
It is impossible to fly without you.
I love you,
Lenore
